Join the Texas SBDC for this workshop and gain insight on growing your business through the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program. The 8(a) program helps small, socially and economically disadvantaged-owned businesses strengthen their ability to compete in the marketplace by receiving training in contracts, finance, management and technical assistance. The federal government awards at least five percent of all contracting to small, disadvantaged businesses each year. We will address other requirements such as eligibility and program benefits, and much more.
