As a part of Train Green SEICBP, the DCSEU has partnered with accredited green training institutions to offer training, credentialing, and certifications at no cost to District Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) and CBE-Eligible firms and their staff.

In partnership with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), the DCSEU is excited to offer the Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) On-Demand Training Program and CEM Exam for the second time this year. If you are looking to develop capacity for yourself or your staff, becoming a CEM can help prepare individuals to take on leadership roles as it relates to the creation of energy management strategies within a facility. In the District, CEMs are an invaluable resource as many buildings prep to meet the Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS).

The DCSEU will cover the full cost of the training and exam, a $1,695 value. This industry-recognized certification covers a wide range of topics specific to facility and building energy management from electrical power systems to building envelopes. Increase your capacity today and start on your path to becoming a competitive CEM or business in your industry! CBEs, District-based businesses, and their employees will be given preference, however, participants will not be limited to only these businesses.*
