Builders + Backers helps entrepreneurial dreamers become Builders who create and grow promising new companies through an innovative (free) Idea Accelerator Program and Pebble Fund. We currently have a national open-call for ideas from U.S. Military Veterans and military spouses. Those who are accepted receive up to $5,000 to test their ideas and free assistance from Builders + Backers’ Venture Studio to help them turn ideas into potential new companies.
Who can join?
- Anyone with a novel idea can apply. No pitch deck, business plan or business entity required.
- Spots have been reserved for U.S. Military Veterans and Military spouses thanks to the
- generous support of The Varady Family Foundation, Antares Capital, and Global Entrepreneurship Network.
- We also have spots reserved for anyone who lives in Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma or Detroit.
What makes the Idea Accelerator different?
- The program is designed for anyone with any sort of novel idea. From high-tech apps and platforms to Main Street business ideas, we welcome all entrepreneurial dreamers who want to get started
- This is an entirely virtual program. You’ll join cohort members from around the country.
- You will get access to exceptional top-talent through one-on-one mentorship.
- Plus, $5,000 in non-dilutive funding through our proprietary Pebble Fund to give your
- ideas a go in the real-world.
